1. Controller

2. What we collect

When you submit our project intake form, we collect: project specifications (audience type, system scale, power, energy, application, country, region, timeline, budget bucket, funding status), and contact details (name, work email, company, role, phone, free-text notes). We log basic server data (IP, user agent, request timestamp, referrer) to operate the site and prevent abuse. With your consent we also collect aggregated, cookie-light analytics via Plausible (page URL, country, browser/OS).

3. Legal basis

We process intake data on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f)). Analytics cookies are set only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

4. Sharing

We share intake data with the curated supplier we currently endorse only when a project actively moves forward and only after we confirm intent with you on a call. We do not sell or rent personal data. Sub-processors used to operate the site:

• Supabase (lead database — EU region)
• Resend (transactional email notifications)
• Netlify (hosting and edge functions)
• Plausible (privacy-friendly analytics, EU-hosted; only when you accept analytics cookies)

5. Retention

Intake records are retained for 24 months from submission, or longer if your project is active. Server logs are retained for 30 days. Analytics data (when consented) is retained per the Plausible defaults.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro). To exercise these rights, email privacy@bessintegrator.com.

7. Cookies

See the on-site cookie banner. We do not set any non-essential cookies before you give consent. You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
